V\u00e1rios servi\u00e7os como r\u00e1dio AM, r\u00e1dio FM, TV, celular, sat\u00e9lite e enlaces fixos terrestres devem compartilhar desse espectro comum. Al\u00e9m disso, cada um desses servi\u00e7os deve crescer e se expandir sem causar interfer\u00eancia em outro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A tarefa de alocar e controlar as partes individuais do espectro \u00e9 de responsabilidade de um comit\u00ea internacional de padroniza\u00e7\u00e3o, criado pelas Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas e denominado de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itu.int\/en\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Uni\u00e3o Internacional de Telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es \u2013 ITU<\/a> (International Telecommunications Union). Os \u00f3rg\u00e3os da ITU de interesse para comunica\u00e7\u00f5es via r\u00e1dio s\u00e3o as ag\u00eancias chamadas de ITU-T (anteriormente CCITT) e ITU-R (anteriormente CCIR).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dentro da ITU-R, a WARC (World Administrative Radio Conference) \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pela aloca\u00e7\u00e3o de uma banda especifica de frequ\u00eancia para os servi\u00e7os atuais e futuros e a RRB (Radio Regulations Board, anteriormente IFRB) define as regras internacionais para a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da frequ\u00eancia dentro dessas bandas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">* <strong>ITU<\/strong> was founded in Paris in 1865 as the International Telegraph Union. It took its present name in 1932, and in 1947 became a specialized agency of the United Nations. Although its first area of expertise was the telegraph, the work of ITU now covers the whole ICT sector, from digital broadcasting to the Internet, and from mobile technologies to 3D TV. An organization of public-private partnership since its inception, ITU currently has a membership of 193 countries and some 700 private-sector entities.
