RE: O apoio solicitado para uma proposta de radioamador.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Caro Organizador Nacional do JOTA,<\/span><\/p>\n

Uma iniciativa da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Radioamadores da Noruega \u2013 NRRL \u2013 me chamou a aten\u00e7\u00e3o. A NRRL lan\u00e7ou uma proposta extraordin\u00e1ria para a pr\u00f3xima Reuni\u00e3o de HF da Regi\u00e3o 1 da Uni\u00e3o Internacional de Radioamadores – IARU<\/a>, que acontecer\u00e1 em Abril pr\u00f3ximo.<\/span><\/p>\n

A NRRL prop\u00f5e que as associa\u00e7\u00f5es de radioamadores liberem o fim de semana do JOTA de outras actividades, notadamente competi\u00e7\u00f5es maiores, e permitam que seus membros possam se concentrar no apoio aos escoteiros.<\/span><\/p>\n

O objetivo \u00e9 ampliar as possibilidades de promover, entre os membros do Movimento Escoteiro, o Radioamadorismo como hobby e contribuir para sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica. Dessa forma, tamb\u00e9m as Associa\u00e7\u00f5es de Radioamador poder\u00e3o se beneficiar com a ades\u00e3o novos radioamadores, mais jovens. As Associa\u00e7\u00f5es de Escoteiros tamb\u00e9m ter\u00e3o novos Radioamadores entre seus jovens e adultos. Essa proposta revive um acordo de cavalheiros feito nos primeiros tempos do JOTA, ou seja, n\u00e3o haver outros grandes eventos de radioamadores no mesmo fim de semana da principal atividade o Radioescotismo mundial. A proposta, em sua \u00edntegra, encontra-se anexada a esta mensagem.<\/span><\/p>\n

Se esta proposta norueguesa for apoiada na reuni\u00e3o de HF, poder\u00e1 ser apresentada na pr\u00f3xima Confer\u00eancia da Regi\u00e3o 1, onde pode ser aprovada e tamb\u00e9m proposta nas Regi\u00f5es 2 e 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pedimos que entrem em contato com o representante de HF da sua Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Radioamadores. Ele, provavelmente, j\u00e1 recebeu a proposta anexada.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por favor, incentive-o a pedir que sua Liga de Radioamadores apoie ativamente a proposta norueguesa na pr\u00f3xima reuni\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear National JOTA Organizer,<\/span><\/p>\n

An initiative from the Norwegian Amateur Radio Association NRRL was brought to my attention. The NRRL launched a remarkable proposal for the upcoming IARU Region 1 HF meeting next April.<\/span><\/p>\n

NRRL proposes that Amateur Radio Associations free up the JOTA weekend from other activities, notably larger contests, and allow their membership to concentrate on support to the Scouts.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The background is widening the possibilities to introduce young Scouts to amateur radio as a hobby and contribute to their technical education. In that way also the Amateur Radio Associations will benefit with new, younger membership. And the Scout Associations will have radio-educated Scouts and leaders amongst them as well. To a larger extend than what is currently happening.\u00a0 In fact, the proposal revives the gentlemen\u2019s agreement made in the very early days of JOTA, i.e. not to have any other large amateur radio events that same weekend. Attached you can read through the complete proposal text.<\/span><\/p>\n

If this Norwegian proposal is supported at the HF meeting, it will go to the next Region 1 Conference where it can be endorsed and also proposed in the Regions 2 and 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

What to do?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It would help the NRRL if you could please get in touch with the HF representative of the Amateur Radio Association in your country. He or she has already received the attached proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please encourage him \/ her that your National Amateur Radio Association can actively support the Norwegian proposal at the HF meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting is in April in Vienna. So please contact your Amateur Radio Association within the next few weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n
